Released: 04 August 1980
Despite the initial 20,000 copies selling for the bargain price of 50p and the bands support slot on the More Specials Tour, this became the labels first release to miss the chart completely. With 2 Tone making way for the latest musical fad and The Specials themselves the only remaining band on the label this release did very little for 2 Tone's reputation.
It was heavily panned by the critics and the NME went as far as asking " Has the 2 Tone quality control gone on holiday or what?". The band, which contained Jerry Dammers girlfriend Val on vocals, suffered various line up changes and a poor reception from the crowd on the More Specials tour. The tour had suffered particularly frequent outbreaks of crowd violence and when the tour finished the band had had enough and split.
The single was a brave attempt at a variation on the 2 Tone theme but with interest in the label quickly fading it had little chance of success.
