Barnsley Bill

Comedy Rap in which Horace Panter was somehow involved, probably as musician and producer "Ronnie Bossanova". The rapper was Rob Allen and the drummer was Rick Medlock.

Marco On The Bass wrote a post on his site about it and reckons it was produced by Horace, and that Dick Cuthell may even feature on a second release "Freewheeling Rap" also on Mother-In-Law Records. A comment on Marco's post says the following:

"Barnsley Bill is Rob Allen - Barnsley lad born and bred. Although it's true the record was produced by Horace (Ronnie Bossonova), the singing is all Rob... featuring vocals from Horace's then girlfriend as 'Wakefield Sue'. Rob met Horace when they were both students at Lanchester Poly"
